Over the past few months, our team at VIMAR worked closely with the Mountmellick Drama Festival committee to create a brand new, modern bespoke website. Mountmellick Drama Festival has been in existence for over thirty years. The festival is firmly established as the premier event in the Laois and Midland’s Theatre calendar.
Mountmellick Drama Festival approached VIMAR and asked if we could help them upgrade their digital presence through a professional rebranding and website package. After extensive research and testing, our graphic design team and web development team got to work to create a modern, bespoke logo and website. We believe Mountmellick Drama Festival now has a strong digital footprint that they can use to increase their growth and brand awareness over the upcoming years.

VIMAR has multiple years of experience creating professional websites for clients in various industries. When we were approached by Mountmellick Drama Festival to create a drama-themed festival, our web development team had the opportunity to come up with creative designs that would suit the current brand guidelines.
We added multiple separate pages to this brand new website. The home page has a list of upcoming festival events, including a group and play synopsis and details such as the event time and date. The website also gives the users the option of purchasing a ticket online.
On the festival page, website visitors can learn more about the vast history of the Mountmellick Drama Festival. Mountmellick Drama Group started life as Mountmellick Pioneers way back in 1979. It proved a hugely successful venture with the first production, The Rain at the End of the Summer, by J.B. The group presented full-length plays right throughout the eighties and nineties presenting a huge variety of Irish and internationally authored productions.

Over the past few weeks, Mountmellick Drama Fesitval has compiled a large number of photos from previous events. We formatted these photos to make them as highly optimized as possible, giving the user a better quality picture to view online. We added all these photos to the ‘Gallery’ section on the website. Now visitors to the website and festival participants and organizers have a place to showcase and remember previous events and moments.
